Kia has applied for patent in China on the K5 Hybrid meaning it will arrive on Chinese shores in the near future. The normal K5 is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. It is yet unsure whether the hybrid will be imported or made locally as well. The K5 Hybrid is powered by a 2.4 patrol and a 30kw electric engine. Via: Auto.163.
