The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i plug-in hybrid sedan has reached dealers ahead of the sales launch in China. This PHEV started pre-sales on January 17 with a price range of 92,800 – 119,800 yuan (12,650 – 16,350 USD). The Galaxy L6 EM-i adopts the Lieshen 2.0 powertrain with a fuel consumption of 2.9 liters per 100 km and a mixed range of 1,300 km.
Geely Galaxy was initially launched in China as a series under the Geely brand. Nowadays, it has become a stand-alone brand with a diverse model line. Back in 2023, the L6 became the second model of the Geely Galaxy. The cumulative sales of this sedan reached 74,278 units so far. Now, the updated variant of the Geely Galaxy L6 has arrived at dealerships across China.

The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i started to arrive at dealerships across China. These early cars aren’t for sale but for display inside Geely Galaxy showrooms. The first updated Geely Galaxy L6 sedans adopt two body color variants. The first is blue with optional blackened pillars and a roof. The second variant is finished in a simple white shade.
Traditional door handles distinguish the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i from its predecessor. They replaced retractable ones to boost reliability and cut costs for the car. On the other hand, the refreshed car does not look so fancy. Anyway, it has fine design touches like chrome trim on the bumpers, sporty 17-inch five-spoke rims, and a single taillight unit.
Inside, the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i has a large landscape-oriented 14.6 screen that replaced the portrait-oriented monitor of the previous model. Another highlight of the car is a 50 W wireless phone charging pad and an updated two-spoke steering wheel with a gear shifter mounted behind. The L6 EM-i offers two new interior shades: black and brown.
According to the manufacturer, the Galaxy L6 EM-i will come standard with LED headlights, heated power side-view mirrors, dual-zone climate control, and a keyless start. Higher trims will add a sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a built-in recorder, and the L2 driving assistance system.

The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i is a sizable car for its price tag, with dimensions of 4782/1875/1489 mm and a wheelbase of 2757 mm. This sedan adopts a Leiahen 2.0 (NordThor 2.0) powertrain with a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated engine for 82 kW (110 hp) paired with an E-DHT gearbox that integrates a 160-kW (214 hp) electric motor.
The Galaxy L6 EM-i has two LFP battery options from the GWM-backed SVOLTL 8.5 kWh for 48 km of electric range and 19.1 kWh for 115 km range. The mixed range of this sedan reaches 1,300 km in a hybrid mode.
