On August 28, Geely officially launched the 2024 Binrui Cool Champion Edition, priced at 89,800 yuan (12,300 USD). As a facelift model of the current Binrui Cool on the market, the Champion Edition has a new front-face design and offers additional exterior and interior colors for consumers to choose from.

In terms of appearance, the lower grille is smaller compared to the existing design. The top grille is decorated with waterfall chrome bars. The logo has changed to a gray-based background color.

At the rear, the taillight has been blackened. The single exhaust outlet on each side further enhances the sportiness of the car.

From the side, the body adopts a slip-back design and runs on double five-spoke rims and 17-inch wheels. As a sedan, the size of the Binrui Cool is 4710/1795/1455mm, and the wheelbase is 2670mm. In addition, a new exterior color called “Shadow Blue” is added.

The interior remains unchanged compared to the existing Binrui Cool on the market with a black-and-white dual-color scheme and a dual-screen design that is composed of a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.3-inch central control screen. Below the central control screen are physical buttons for controls. In addition, the interior has a new color scheme called “Dynamic Black” for consumers to choose from.

The operating system comes from Galaxy OS, which supports voice interaction, navigation, 4G network, Bluetooth, and OTA updates. Other configurations include a tire pressure display, electronic stability program, autonomous parking, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and start, remote start, and an openable sunroof. The high-end models are also equipped with Alcantara material seats.

The powertrain is equipped with a 1.5TD four-cylinder engine that outputs 181 hp and 290 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DCT. The official 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 7.1 seconds and the fuel consumption is 5.9L/100km.
