The very first photos of the new Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS3, the new entry level car of the Trumpchi SUV range. It looks all right with a shiny grille, fins in the bumper, large mirrors, the usual messy D-pillar, and black wheel arches. The wheels however are a tad too small, just look at the rear wheel!
Daring lights are a plus. Guangzhou Auto badge keeps growing. Pipes seem nicely integrated in the bumper but they look very odd somehow. I bet they are fake with the real pipe hiding under the bumper.
The GS3 will be powered by a 112hp 1.5 liter petrol engine. A 1.5 turbo with some 150 horses will join the lineup later. Size: 4350/1825/1655, and wheelbase is 2560.
Price will start around 70.000 and end around 90.000 yuan.
Nice air duct on the roof for more speed. Expensive versions get a shark fin antenna, cheapos got to do with a rubbery thing.
