The new Dongfeng Fengshen AX3 debuted today on the 2015 Chengdu Auto Show in China, featuring striking chrome pods wrapped around the corners of the bumper. The Fengshen AX3 is a somewhat odd car, mixing elements of a hatchback, a wagon, and some crossover SUV.
Dashboard with a lot of gray and then some more. Steering wheel looks very 2009. Gear knob in shiny black and a medium sized screen. Seats are gray.
The Fengshen AX3 will be available with two four-cylinder petrol engines: a 1.6 with 116hp and a 140hp 1.4 turbo, both mated to a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Size: 4518/1740/1562, and wheelbase is 2620.
Tiny wheels are swimming in the arches, which are edged in black plastic in crossover style. Large roof rack seems perfectly usable.
Huge rear lights where smaller ones are the fashion now.
Subtle chrome bars in the grille, centering around the Dongfeng logo.
