Spy shots of the new SouEast R7 SUV testing in China. The SouEast R7 debuted as a concept on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The production version will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in December with a launch on the Chinese car market scheduled for early 2015.

The R7 will be powered by a 1.8 liter and 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines, good for about 180hp and 220hp.  Price is expected to start around 130.000 yuan. The R7 is the first SouEast SUV ever and the largest vehicle ever developed by SouEast, making it a rather ambitious project.
