The Lincoln MKX Concept SUV debuted today on the Beijing Auto Show. The Lincoln MKX Concept previews a new global Lincoln SUV that will be launched on world markets in 2016. ‘Global’ means it will be manufactured in the U.S. and in other countries, and its launch in China implies it will be made there as well.

Ford is currently readying the Lincoln MKC for manufacturing in China, production at the Changan-Ford joint venture will start late next year. The new MKX will be added to the line-up in late 2016 or early 2017. No official confirmation on engines but around-around we heard about a 2.0 liter turbo petrol and a hybrid based around a 1.5 liter turbo petrol.
