The very first picture of the upcoming JAC iEV5, seen here on a JAC dealer meeting. The iEV5 is a new electric vehicle. It will debut on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show and it will be launched on the China car market in 2015. Top speed will be 120km/h and range will be 200 km/h.

Price will start around 200.000 yuan, but green-car subsidies will bring that down to about 130.000 at the dealer. JAC is very serious about electric cars. The announcement of the iEV5 comes less than a month after the launch on the JAC iEV4, which has a top speed of 95 km/h and a range of 160 kilometer.
