Spy Shots: new Toyota Corolla sedan spied in the Factory China
The very first spy shots of the new Toyota Corolla sedan for China. The new Toyota Corolla will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the Chinese auto market in the second half of this year. The Chinese Corolla is based on the European version of the 11th generation Corolla.
The current 10th generation Corolla.
The Toyota Corolla is manufactured in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture. Price starts at 123.800 yuan and ends at 160.800 yuan. Engines: 122hp 1.6 and a 140hp 1.8.
The 1.8 will continue in the new Corolla but the aging 1.6 will be replaced by a new 1.5 with 110hp, and Toyota is considering bringing the 95hp 1.3 to China as well. Price of the new Corolla will range from around 120.000 yuan to 160.000 yuan.
