The new Volkswagen Golf R is powered by a screaming 2.0 turbo with 300hp and 380nm, mated to a 6-speed DSG sending horses to all four wheels. The Golf R is one of the fastest family cars currently available on the Chinese car market, and the outgoing Golf 6 R has gained an enthusiastic following.

The basic Volkswagen Golf 7, including the Golf GTI, is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.
