Facelifted MG3 debuts on the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show
The facelifted MG3 debuted on the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show. The facelifted MG3 is already available in the U.K., but China will have to wait until early next year. The MG3 was officially introduced as a ‘Euro Edition’ but it was really the Chinese version with the steering wheel on the left and the name in Chinese characters.
This particular car is a UK Impression special edition, which comes with hip ‘UK’ thingies such as UK Impression stickers and a slightly sexed up interior. The current MG3 is also available as UK Impression and comes with a British flag on the roof, but this blue car didn’t have any flag.
Note wood plank under car. Is it leaking oil? Alloys are new too and look rather speedy. Power however is unchanges: 92hp 1.3 and a 109hp 1.5, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Price for the facelifted MG3 will start around 70.000 yuan and end around 110.000 yuan.
No flag, but it has a racing stripe.
