The very first live pics of the brand new Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi WitStar Concept. The WitStar will officially debut on Friday on the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show but we got it here today. The vehicle was seen in the exhibition hall during a rehearsal for the launch ceremony.

The WitStar will showcase new ‘intelligent vehicle driving technologies’ including an autonomous-drive system. It is also equipped with a more worldly ‘mobile terminal remote control system’, that will allow users to use their mobile phone or pad to start their car, turn on the engine, unlock the doors, and such more. This system will be fitted in the current Guangzhou Auto line-up in the near future.

Design-wise the WitStar previews a new large SUV that will be positioned above the current Trumpchi GS5. Sadly, the gullwing doors won’t make it to production…
