The Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition has been launched on the China car market at 668.000 yuan or 109.000 USD. The Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition is based on the base 5-door Evoque. The Christmas Edition is limited to only 700 cars, 350 in ‘China Red’ and 350 in ‘Fuji White’.

The Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition comes with 20 inch black nine-spoke alloys, a black grille, black ‘Range Rover’ lettering, a sporty rear spoiler, a heated steering wheel, and black leather seats with a silver trim. The Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition is powered by a 2.0 turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 240hp.

Note black ‘Range Rover’ lettering.

The idea of a ‘Christmas Edition’ in a country where nobody celebrated Christmas is bizarre, to say the least. Even more bizarre is the ‘Fuji White’ color, which is inspired by Mount Fuji, the most famous mountain of Japan, and Japan isn’t very cool in China at the moment. Which marketing manager made this all up?!

However, the worst thing of the Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition is that is comes without any Range Rover Evoque Christmas Edition badges or plagues. That, is a serious crime.
