The new Honda Accord has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 206.800 yuan and ends at 298.800 yuan. The Honda Accord is made in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture. The Chinese Accord is based on the North American Honda Accord but the grille and bumpers are different.

Three engines: a 2.0 with 152hp and 190nm, a 2.4 with 185hp and 243nm, and a new 3.0 V6 with 255hp and 297nm. The 2.0 and 2.4 will be mated to a CVT, the 3.0 will be mated to a 6-speed automatic. The 3.0 has to move the Accord higher up in the market, away from the new Honda Crider that is priced from 114.800 yuan to 149.800 yuan.
