The new fourth generation Toyota RAV4 will be launched on the China car market on August 26, and the first cars have arrived at the dealer. Price will range from 183.800 yuan to 273.800 yuan. The Toyota RAV4 is made in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture.

The RAV4 is one of the most popular SUV’s on the Chinese market. Sales weren’t hindered much by the anti-Japanese protests and boycotts earlier this year, whicg again shows that if a car is good enough politics won’t get it down. The China-made RAV4 will be available with a 147hp 2.0 and a 180hp 2.5. Transmissions: 6-speed manual, CVT, or 6-speed automatic.
