Spy Shots: China-made Audi A3 Sportback is Ready for the Chinese car market

New spy shots showing the new China-made Audi A3 Sportback doing some late testing in China before its debut later this year. The Audi A3 Sportback will be made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture in their new factory in Foshan, marking the very first time the A3 is made outside Germany.

The Audi A3 Sportback is currently imported into China, price ranges from 255.000 yuan to 328.000 yuan. Price of the locally-made car will start just under 200.000 yuan. Engines: 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI. The Audi A3 sedan will be made in China as well. Production will start sometime late next year. Until then, the A3 sedan will be imported for the very eager buyers
