A very law-enforcement Beijing-Jeep Grand Cherokee, seen on the parking lot of the Cipate police equipment show in Beijing. The Beijing police still uses a many Cherokee’s, mostly for ferrying around high ranking coppers. The Grand Cherokee was made in China from 2005 until 2008 by the Beijing-Jeep joint venture.

The Chinese Cherokee was available with two engines: the 4.0 six-in-line and the 4.7 V8. The Beijing-Jeep joint venture also made the Cherokee XJ, which was a popular car for the Chinese police as well.

After checking out the parking lot I went to the show, much more police cars and armored cars to come over the coming days. Stay tuned…
