The very first spy shots of a very cheap new Volkswagen Jetta testing in China. The new Volkswagen Jetta was launched on the Chinese car market in March, priced from 82.800 to 119.300 yuan. At the time of launch we were surprised about the rather high price, where 70.000 yuan was expected for the cheapest variant. It now seems Volkswagen had a cheapo ready anyway, and it loox the deal…

Current Jetta. Fog lights and chrome strips in grille come at a price…

The Volkswagen Jetta is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. It is basically the same car as the Volkswagen Santana and the Skoda Rapid, which are made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. Shanghai-volkswagen is working on a cheapo Santana, like this cheapo Jetta, but we haven’t seen a cheapo Skoda yet.

Back is the same as there were no fog lights or any chrome to delete.
