FAW Oley hatchback launched on the Shanghai Auto Show
The new FAW Oley hatchback has been launched on the Shanghai Auto Show, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in July and price will start around 55.000 yuan. The FAW Oley hatchback is based on the Oley sedan which was launched in April last year. Now dashboard!
Just look at this… What a beautiful madness here, from those very serious FAW engineers from the cold north. Impressive. It all loox like a transformer toy mixed with some Fiat and some Fiesta, but the overall result is original to the max. Red accents on steering wheel a great touch. Air vents roind and air vents square. Dash in gray, red and black.
May we wish more cars looked like the Oley hatch! Dash of the Oley sedan has the same design but only comes in boring colors, which makes a big difference.
The hatchback will be powered by the same engine as the sedan; a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 100hp and 135nm, mated to a five-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Size: 4200/1660/1465, wheelbase is 2525. Length of the sedan is 4485.
I waited with this pic because the front is still the one part where the Oley is simply ugly. Earlier on we saw spy shots of an Oley sedan with a new front-end but it seems that project is still ongoing.
