Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show
This is the new Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition, a special edition Aventador created to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, it will debut later this week on the Shanghai Auto Show. Lamborghini will only make 100 examples of the Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition (not 50).
The Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition will get 20 horsepower more (not 50) than the regular Aventador, which has to do with 700. The Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition will probably need that extra power to carry around the new carbon-fiber aero kit which comes with extra wings up front, side skirts, an a messy ensemble at the back.
How many of cars will come to China is yet unknown, but likely a lot. China is currently the second market worldwide for Lamborghini and wealthy Chinese car buyers love special editions very much, no matter the price. A base Aventador goes for 6.57 million yuan or 1.06 million USD, the LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition will likely go over 7 million.
