Volvo XC60 is baby blue in China

A baby blue Volvo XC60 seen in an underground parking in Beijing. This is the very first time I met a modified Volvo in the Capital, Volvo drivers usually leave their fine vehicles the way they are, painted in brown-kinda colors. The light blue wrap does the XC60 surprisingly good, showing the car’s strong lines much better than anything dark.

Wrap was of good quality and covered the upper part of the bumpers, the lower parts were left black for contrast. A decision that I think can be respected. The mirrors however are black too, and that is more questionable since the windows are blacked out, rendering the mirrors as useless in the overall color scheme. Black door handles very good.

The Volvo XC60 is imported into China. Price starts 408.000 yuan and ends at 658.000 yuan. Engines: 2.0 turbo and 3.0 V6 turbo. Volvo’s owner Geely wants to make the XC60 in China but production won’t start before 2014.

A bit more Baby Blue: Porsche 911, Benz E, Audi S4, Ferrari 458, and a BMW 3.
