The facelifted Volkswagen Passat CC has been launched in the rest of world about six months ago, but the Chinese car market still has to do with the old one, made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. But at least the facelifted CC is now on its way, it will hit the China auto market in June next year.

The current FAW-Volkswagen Passat CC, simply called ‘CC’ in China. Price starts at 251.800 yuan and ends at 321.800 yuan. Engines: 1.8 TSI and 3.0 FSI V6. Both engines will continue and price will be about the same. The CC has been an unexpected success in China, selling in droves to cool and kinda rich city folk who consider a sedan too boorish.
