Spotted in China: C4 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
An extremely rare C4 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, seen in Shanghai by our good friend Leo Yang. The C4 was made from 1983 until 1996, the convertible from 1986 until 1996. The C4 Corvette was never officially exported to China so the chances of meeting one are very small.
The C4 was powered by a 5.7 liter V8. Over the years power went up from 250hp in 1983 to 330 in 1996. This red monster on the pics is a post-facelift model, meaning it was after 1992. Power for the 1992 model year came from the new LT1 engine which was good for a decent 300hp.
