The production version of the JAC Eagle S5 (formerly known as the JAC SII and B-SUV) was expected to debut at the Chengdu Auto Show but didn’t show, debut is now expected for the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.

The JAC Eagle S5 will be launched on the Chinese auto market this year, priced between 100.000 and 150.000 yuan. Power comes from a 2.0 turbo mated to a six-speed manual or DCT. The Eagle S5 is still based on the good old JAC Rein which is, legally, based on the first-gen Hyundai Santa Fe.
