We have seen zillions of spy shots but now it is finally here, the China-made Ford Kuga officially debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show. Mass production of the Kuga at the Chang’an-Ford joint venture will start in November and it will be launched in early 2013. There will be two engines; 1.6 and 2.0, mated to a six-speed tiptronic. We know there will be at least three versions available: the base Kuga, a sporty S and the luxurious Ghia. Price is still a well-kept secret but we think it will start around 180.000 yuan.
