Chengdu Auto Show: SouEast V5 Lingzhi hits the China auto market

The SouEast V5 Lingzhi sedan has been officially launched on the China auto market, price starts at 70.800 yuan and ends at 97.800 yuan. The SouEast V5 debuted in April on the Beijing Auto Show, it is based on the platform from the last-gen Mitsubishi Lancer that is still made in China by the SouEast-Mitsubishi joint venture.

Power comes from a 1.5 with 120hp and 143nm, or from a 1.8 with 144hp and 178nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. SouEast is also working on a new 1.5 turbo that will be available later on, likely in the upcoming V5 Lingzhi Sport.
