The new Hyundai Elantra, called Avante in some markets, will hit the Chinese auto market next year. It will be made by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. Beijing-Hyundai will however continue to current Elantra-Dongyue. The joint venture also still makes the previous Elantra that is nowadays mostly sold to taxi fleets, that one will continue as well. Three generations Elantra under one roof, only in China…

Current Elantra-Dongyue. The Avante-Elantra will be more expensive than the Dongyue, the old Elantra is the cheapest.
