The new Hyundai Elantra, called Avante in some markets, will hit the Chinese auto market next year. It will be made by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. Beijing-Hyundai will however continue to current Elantra-Dongyue. The joint venture also still makes the previous Elantra that is nowadays mostly sold to taxi fleets, that one will continue as well.
