Renting an old fashioned British car in China

Seen in a shop in Beijing which is frequently visited by foreigners. A Chinese company offers a Roewe 750 for rent, describing the poor car as ‘British Old Fashion’. That must hurt! SAIC bought the rights to the Rover 75 in 2005 when its design was already six years old. Today it is 14 years and that is very old fashioned indeed. Production of the Roewe 750 continues until today, the new Roewe 950 is a much bigger and more expensive car and not really a replacement. A true new 750 still needs to be born, SAIC better hurry up a bit…
