Spy shots from the Skoda Superb Wagon testing in China. The wagon will be launched on the Chinese car market next year as an import, the Superb sedan is made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. The market for wagons is now seriously heating up in China, a wagon is seen by buyers as the ‘individual’ choice, as in ‘for cool people who wanna be different’.

Nothing to do indeed with luggage space… The Superb Wagon will come with 3 TSI engines: 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0. No diesels for the Chinese market since diesels for passenger cars are forbidden in most big cities. Price for the locally made Superb sedan ranges from 171.900 yuan to 243.900 yuan, price for the imported wagon will start around 220.000 yuan.
