Geely Emgrand EV7 will hit the China car market this Year
The Geely Emgrand EV7 debuted as a concept on the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. Geely has been working to get it ready for the road and the Emgrand EV7 will hit the Chinese car market late this year. Price is expected to start around 90.000 yuan.
The Emgrand EV7 is a mid-size MPV that can seat seven. Power will come from Geely’s 1.8 DVVT mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT. Size: 4540/1800/1580, wheelbase is 2794. The EV7 will be the first MPV sold under the Emgrand-brand and one of the first MPV’s sold by the Geely group. The MPV-segment isn’t very large in China, most buyers prefer either a sedan or an SUV.
The emgrand EV7 is a rather curvy vehicle. Not too pretty, but pretty special.
