The first spy shots from the new Peugeot 208 testing in China. The 208 will be launched on the Chinese car market next year, it will finally replace the ancient Peugeot 207 that is still in production at the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture, alongside the China-only Citroen C2.

The 208 will likely get a Citroen-sister again because earlier this month we saw spy shots of a heavily camouflaged ‘new’ C2. Engines for the China-made 208: 1.4, 1.6 and from 2014 a 1.2 turbo as well. Price is yet unknown but it will be more expensive than the current 207 which starts at 71.800 yuan.
