The Citroen c-Triomphe will get a facelift, the updated car is expected to hit the Chinese market in the second half of this year. The c-Triomphe is a China-only model based on the first generation Citroen C4, made by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. It is positioned above the c-Quattre (current Chinese C4) and below the C5.

It will be a large makeover. Nose will be completely new, design-wise in line with the current second generation European Citroen C4. Changes at the back are a bit less certain, but there will be new light units and a new bumper. The interior will be upgraded as well, again in line with the European C4. Big news under the bonnet: the old 2.0 will finally be replaced by the new 1.6 turbo.

The current c-Triomphe, not exactly a pretty car, but it is big and roomy for the money. Price starts at 149.800 yuan and ends at 172.800 yuan. Power comes from a 2.0 with 147hp, this engine will not return in the facelifted c-Triomphe.
