The Audi RS Q3 concept debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. The real thing will hit the market before the end of this year. The most powerful Q3 will be sold on the Chinese car market, China loves fast SUV’s, but it won’t be made in China. Audi will make the standard Q3’s in China at the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, production will start late this year or early 2013.

Power comes from a 2.5 turbocharged five-cylinder that poops out a very fine 360hp. 0-100 takes 5.2 seconds and top-speed is 265km/h. Transmission is a seven-speed S-Tronic dual clutch that brings horses to all four wheels. Changes for the real thing will be minimal: smaller tires, front spoiler slightly toned down, and that is about it. Great looking machine, mean by all means, will sell like hot rice to hot Chinese mama’s.
