The Aston Martin ‘Dragon 88’ special editions debuted at the Beijing Auto Show to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Dragon, 88 is a lucky number in China. It comes on three cars: the DBS Volante, the Virage Coupe and the Vantage S. Each will be limited to 88 cars.

Special thingies: dragons on the head rests, special colors for the interior: Spicy Red, Deep Purple or Chancellor Red, 24K golden Aston Martin-logo’s up front and on the back, three special colors for the exterior: Amethyst Red, Volcano Red or Champagne Gold, and some special gold-colored patterns in the wood in the center console. A fine package together that will likely find very eager buyers, no matter how expensive. Wealthy Chinese just love special editions, and even more when they are China-only, and yet even more when they are China only and China-themed.
