Here we have a very fine pink car from China, seen by reader Kael right here in Beijing, thank you for the pictures! This pinky is a Jeep Cherokee that was made in China in various forms from 1984 until early 2009 by the Beijing-Jeep (later Beijing Chrysler) joint venture. This particular example is an early car and it has been customized quite a bit…

We see: a German license-plate above the Chinese plate (???), a skull and cross-bones pirate flag on the pink bonnet, pinked-out wheels, an exhaust-pipe going up, a roof-rack and a enough fog lights to cross the Pacific in Autumn. The German plate seems real, maybe this car is owned by a German resident of Beijing.

The China-made Cherokee was available with the 2.4 four-cylinder and the 4.0 six-in-line. The Cherokee is actually still made in China, now by Beijing Auto alone, and called the Beijing Auto Works Qishi S12, yours for 78.800 yuan.
