Spy Shots: Kia K3 testing in China

New spy shots from the upcoming Kia K3 testing on Chinese roads. The K3 is the successor of the Kia Forte and will be made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Production will start in September, its official debut is expected at the Guangzhou Auto Show in early December.

The K3 will slot between the K2 and K5 in Kia’s line-up, the K2 and K5 are also made in China. Engines for the K3: 1.6 and 1.8, mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. Price will range from 110.000 yuan to 150.000 yuan.
