New Hyundai Elantra will be listed in China in June

The new Hyundai Elantra, known as Avante in some markets, will be listed on the China car market in June, it will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Price will range from 100.000 to 150.000 yuan. The Elantra is made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture.

It will likely be named ‘New Elantra’ because the current Elantra, the ‘Elantra-Dongyue’ and the last-gen Elantra, called ‘Elantra’ will both continue. Engines for the new-new Elantra: 1.6 and 1.8, mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
