The Chinese Mazda 2 will get a facelift to bring its design in line with the rest of the world. The facelifted Mazda 2 will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April. The Mazda 2 hatchback and sedan are made in China by the Chang’an-Mazda joint venture.

The aging 1.3 and 1.5 engines will continue, the new SKYACTIV-engines will not yet be available in China. Price of the current Mazda 3 sedan starts at 81.800 yuan, price for the new car will be about the same.

Interior much improved, gear-lever kinda cool.
