The SouEast V5 sedan will be listed on the China car market in July, debut is expected at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Price will range from 70.000 to 100.000 yuan. The V5 has been under development for many years, it is based on a old Mitsubishi Lancer platform.

The V5 will be powered by a Mitsubishi-sourced 1.8 with 144hp and 178nm, mated to a CVT. SouEast has access to all this Mitsubishi-tech thanks to the SouEast-Mitsubishi joint venture that makes various Mitsubishi’s for the Chinese market, including the Lancer and the Galant.
