Biggest flyover for Pedestrians in Beijing

Pedestrians are annoying. They hold up decent automotive traffic and when a car accidentally hits a pedestrian it will likely die. Beijing, with over one million vehicles on the road, has been looking for solutions.

One solution is building huge pedestrian flyovers at intersections. The biggest square-shaped flyover in the city has just been opened on the Zhongguancun section of the North Fourth Ring Road in Beijing. It spans 327 meters, big indeed but even bigger ones are reportedly on the way.
