New Mazda 3 hatchback to debut at Guangzhou Auto Show

The new Mazda 3 hatchback will be launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. The Mazda 3 sedan debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show in September. The old 3 sedan continues as the Mazda 3 Classic.

All 3’s are made in China by the Chang’an-Mazda joint venture. Two engines: a 1.6 with 107hp and 145nm and a 2.0 with 150hp and 182nm, mated to a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Price of the hatchback will range from 110.000 yuan to 160.000 yuan.
