Spy Shots: Volkswagen Tiguan facelifted in China
The Volkswagen Tiguan is one of the most popular medium sized SUV’s on the Chinese market, it is made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. The Tiguan will get a small facelift, new car will likely debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in late November.
New headlights, slightly different grille, some changes at the back and that’s about it. Bigger news under the bonnet; the 1.4 TSI will be available next to the current 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI. The 1.4 has only one job: make the Tiguan cheaper so it will sell more. The current 1.8 starts around 199.800 yuan, the 1.4 will likely start around 175.000 yuan.
