Ford was in no hurry, at all, to bring the new Ford Focus to the biggest auto market in the world. It is finally going to happen in November when the China-made Focus will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The Focus is made in China by the Chang’an-Ford joint venture.

The hatchback will hit the market first, the sedan will follow soon after. Engines for China are the new 1.6 Ecoboost and the older 2.0. Price will start around 105.000 yuan.

The current Ford Focus will remain in production. It will be sold alongside the new Focus for a reduced price. The old Focus will likely get a new name, likely something like ‘Focus Classic’.
