The new Ford Ecosport small SUV will have its worldwide debut at the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show. The Ecosport will be made in China in Brazil, in China by the Chang’an-Ford joint venture which is also involved in the development and design of the Ecosport.

The renderings are from a Brazillian automotive website. Enginewise: 1.6, 2.0 and maybe a very interesting 1.0 turbo, for the ‘eco’ in Ecosport. This sort of small SUV is very popular in China so Ford might finally have another winner in hand in the biggest auto market in the world, an a winner they sorely need…
