Beijing cracks down on illegal motorbikes

A bulldozer is used to destroy motor bikes in Chaoyang district, Beijing, Aug 25, 2011. Beijing police seized almost 5,000 unlicensed motor bikes. These vehicles had been carrying passengers without official permission.

Since the crackdown on unlicensed vehicles, Beijing has seized 10,700 motor bikes and 7,300 automobiles, and has detained 982 people for running unlicensed transport businesses.
