The Chinese government has approved the Chang’an-PSA (aka Chang’an-Peugeot-Citroën) joint venture. It is the second joint venture from PSA in China, the other one is Dongfeng-Peugeot-Citroën.

The joint venture with Chang’an will make all the Citroën DS-branded cars; DS3, DS4, DS5 and the big DS9 based on the Metropolis concept car. The joint venture with Dongfeng makes the ‘normal’ Peugeots and Citroëns. As for now, the Chang’an-PSA joint venture won’t make any Peugeots.
