The good old Volkswagen Santana is still very much alive, see pic. Made by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture and still a best seller for taxi fleets and for those who want a big, affordable and reliable car. Volkswagen will bring a new Santana to the Chinese market in September next year, tentatively named Santana NF. It will be based on the PQ34 platform, code name is VW253CS. Design will be new but not too new, VW’s knows its buyers very well… More as we get it.
