The facelifted Chevrolet Sail will be listed on the Chinese market in July. The Sail hatchback and sedan are made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture.

The new car gets new bumpers, a new grille, an updated interior and most important parking sensors at the back. Nope, I am not kidding about that one, Chinese drivers don’t get much lessons before they can get their license and many accidents happen.

Of those many are caused by parking rearwards and hitting something. Even very cheap cars come with parking sensors standard, like the Suzuki Swift from my wife. The Sail didn’t have ‘m yet, not even as an option, and that was a serious reason for buyers to leave it. The Sail will cost between 56.800 yuan and 75.800 yuan.
