The Mitsubishi i-MieEV, what a bloody name that is, was seen testong on Chinese roads. The full electric vehicle will be listed in China as an import in 2012. When fully charged it has a range of 150 kilometers. Enough for in the city, that is, if you could actually charge it somewhere.

Which you can’t, not now and not in 2012. The i-MieEV is already available in Hongkong where the local government indeed is working hard on adding charging stations around the city. Beijing by comparison has non except a very small taxi trial project somewhere in a far away suburb.
